Good app

Solid easy to use!!

Not receiving emails

Tried to send readings of my BP and didn't show up in email. Used help articles and morning about my problem

Withings connection doesn’t work

Withings connection doesn’t work anymore. Loading data from Apple Health leads to app freeze, i.e. doesn’t work.

Very useful app but lacking one very important (to me) feature

This is a very useful app; I have been using it for a number of years now. I have no major issues with the app with one major exception: why is there no way to export the raw data for importing into a spreadsheet or database on the PC? I love the app for its ease of entering the data but am very frustrated by not being able to massage this data outside the app.

Total Lie

I just noticed the website for Leading Edge saying explicitly that Withings BP and Weight measurements are automatically downloaded to iBP; this is completely fanciful. Up to about two years ago BP readings could be seamlessly downloaded to iBP, at least until the link was suddenly broken. Now when you try to download to iBP Withings BP readings, you get this: “Error; The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format”. As for weight measurements , they’ve never been an option as far as I know. You can’t even manually move data in or out of iBP because once in iBP, the date/time is converted to a strange ten digit numerical code incompatible with any human language and with .csv transfer protocols. As for the backup and restore commands they wipe out and replace all content. In effect the only data input procedure that actually works reliably is manually. Wifi data transfer works between iPad and iPhone assuming you have an existing intelligable data set to share (and which is .csv compatible), but it’s so confusingly bidirectional.

Error when reading data from Withings

Used to work fine, but awhile ago it stopped being able to extract data from Withings. Get a data format error.

So useful and easy to use

Both my doctor and I love the charts of readings. The ease of input and the customization can’t be beat. I have been using this app for years and think it is the best.

Recommended by my Dr

My Dr turned me on to the app and I love it

Excellent Product

I almost forgot I had this app. I am the type that I am always looking for the next "better" app. I find this is that "better" app. Easy to use and I share it with my doctor. Other apps may have additional options but Pareto's Law comes into play. Stick with something that works - like this app.

I’ve been using this app for nine years!

From day one I’ve loved this app. When the latest update removed the ability to scroll back through the data I was truly disappointed. Please bring this feature back. It’s vital to be able to see your progress over time.

Buggy

Log into Withings account to import data numerous errors and failures appears to have more than a few bugs

Loss of Data Import and Export Capability

With the advent of health data transfer interoperability, I am sad to see the disappearance of IBp’s link to the Withings App. Withings BP and weight data integrates seamlessly and automatically within Apple Health, which is great, but no other BP app compares to IBp’s graphic displays of BP data longitudinally. That makes it even more distressing to lose the ability to at least be able to periodically download BP data from Withings’ Healthmate online. Of course ideally one would have liked it to be fully automatic, but now one has to periodically download BP data from Healthmate online, then reformat the data to match iBP’s format, to be able to import the data into iBP. This discourages me from using iBp on a regular basis because my only other option would be to manually input my BP data into iBp which seems even more ridiculous in this day and age of health data integration, ata Nothing appears to have changed and iBP-withings data connectivity is still broken

Have to enter everything manually

Ever

Stopped importing from apple health app

Was working fine for years, now the app stopped importing data from apple health. Contacted the app support link for assistance and they never responded.

Excellent

I use this app at least twice daily to track my blood pressure. I also use it to track my sodium intake with the user defined entry. I previously was on medication for hypertension but the medication side effects were causing me other problems. With the help of this app I was able to stop medication and get my hypertension under control by limiting sodium intake to around 1500mg/day. There are always ways to improve software but this app gets most things right in an elegant way. I am also a software developer so I appreciate great software and this app is certainly in that category. Thanks to this developer for a great app and the continued support!

No support

The app seems to work fine except when you try to export the data. The date is not in the correct format. I have tried to contact support twice and never received a response.

Fantastic App

I’ve been using the app since 2018 off and on. Now I will be using the app daily per my doctors request to test my blood pressure twice a day. This app has all the bells and whistles and is much better than any of the free ones. You get what you pay for. I hope the author will continue updating the app.

NICE! Worth the purchase!

None of the free apps did what I needed- this one has all the bells and whistles I wanted- charting, averages, a log: everything I need to show my doctor. Thanks!

Excellent!

I have been using this app for almost 10 full years now with daily readings including weight. In all that time, I have missed no more than 30 days total! Love it!

Needs a better way to transfer from phone to iPad

Consider using iCloud to sync between devices. Wi-Fi server is outdated and clunky.

Carol

Very convenient thank you easy

Found crash problem

IBP started crashing every time I tried to open it. A pop Up to rate the app, and a pop up to enter my passcode was the problem. They were causing to to crash. I deleted the app, reinstalled it, and left passcode off. Works great now. It is one of the better blood pressure tracking apps.

Doesnt link to apple health

No linkng

Transfer

I have both an iPhone and and an iPad. Sometimes I use my iPad to make an entry and sometimes I use my iPhone. I wish it would automatically transfer the readings from iPad to iPhone and iPhone to iPad automatically just like my other blood pressure application.

Email No Longer Works

I have used this app for years but now the email function no longer works. The app says that the email was sent, but I never receive it.

Excellent product

I have been using this app for about for five months. Very accurate information guide for your medical needs. Very helpful when you go to the doctor.

No Support!

I’ve emailed them twice and no response in 8 weeks! Touch ID does not work on my iPad and on my iPhone 11 the app opens then immediately quits. Still no response. They got my $$ so what the heck!

Transfer

To another device not working

Highly recommended

This app is very easy to use. I love the report outputs. Let’s me send my doc the readings for the year when he does his review of my meds. Bravo!

Very good

Love the transfer server... helped me keep years of data when switching phones... very well thought out.

I love this app

I used it several years ago when I was first experiencing high blood pressure. I showed my doctor my chart that the app produced. He was extremely impressed with the app. I am experiencing some days with high blood pressure again and am keeping a record of it with this app. I’m sure my doctor will be happy to see the charts again. It helped him last time to see what I was experiencing and I’m sure it will once again be a tool of value.

No Apple Health import as advertised!

I bought this only because it advertised import/export to Apple Health. I enabled that option in settings but when I click on the refresh icon, it reports that it’s waiting on Apple Health but just hangs on that. WORTHLESS!

Best I’ve Seen

I’ve tried several BP apps for years, and this is the best one I’ve seen by far! The app developers must be brilliant because they’ve made this extremely easy and fast to use not only for logging BP, charting, reporting, etc. but also for sending it to doctors and others who need to know. The linking between iPad and iPhone is simple too, so it becomes very convenient to use at doctors offices when your BP is checked for other types of appointments, etc. Great Job!

No Apple Health

This app doesn’t appear to share (read/write) data with the Apple Health app. That’s a failure to me.

Makes Watching my BP easy and accurate.

My Doctor limes to see my BPs when I come in.

Fails To Send Email

App will no longer send email. In its current state, it’s not of much value.

Me

Love this app! I like that I can track BP for multiple people and I’ve been using it for my family for years! Unfortunately it seems to crash on my new iPhone XR. I think it’s because the new iPhone no longer supports finger print for auth. Is there a fix in the works for this?

Love It

Love this app! My doctor said to check my bp and it helps me stay on track.

Perhaps the best, has the essentials +

Not all screens are not fancy, but are adequate. Of the handful of apps I’ve been looking at, this is among the best. Primo. All have room for improvement. iBP is a “buy." For its price, get this one too, should you buy another app. Double enter the data into iBP & compare. Its worth it to decide what works for you at these prices. The main view to read - is a little cluttered, but has useful info. Time stamped in case you don't measure BP same time of day. Highly customizable & you can bias the color chart to suit your needs off AHA stds. Can email data to yourself &/or doc in various formats. (though few docs accept it for security concerns). Convenient charting to show your doc useful info if you take your iPad in to your appointment. There are quite a few things you can customize in the settings, such as the acceptable low & high numbers for systolic & diastolic ranges & even set up a passcode. Show/hide subviews. Can add a 2nd arm as another user should you need to periodically check both arms, or have another user. The basic measurements / log screen indicates in a split circle by color whether the bp numbers are VG; possibly an issue, or potentially serious - you set the warning range. That is a feature I haven’t seen in another app like this. That’s worth 4 stars. And the fact that the first few words of any notes show up in the primary screen. Has its own custom field "my item," with 2 char entry per BP measurement, but not as versatile as I'd like. ***An "on exercise," "bef/aft meds" icons, & flag icon for other SPECIAL info - in notes would be nice. None of these bp trackers seem to have a marker for which arm or a seamlessly easy way to do this (in case you check both for a differential). Although in iBP you could set up the other arm as a 2nd user & that’s not bad an alternative. Thus you can track the arms separately, altho' comparing by day not available. If you get one, get this one. You can roll the tumblers for upper & lower bps & heart rate all in one place. ***Would be nice if there were alternating color bars or background for all checks on a given day — for those days when you need multiple checks. You CAN screw up old entries with an inadvertant spin if not careful. (not as likely anymore after app updates, but still possible). It DOES feed data to the Apple health app, contrary to another review.

Doctor Was Impressed!!

Been using this app for awhile. Took it along to my doctor's appointment with three months of daily input. My doctor was very impressed. It also gave me some realization on how what was going on in my life affected my blood pressure.

Could be better

Having used apps on Android which have a better user interface, please give us the option to use a real keypad instead of the crappy apple wheel of fortune.

Does what it needs to do

It is great way of recording your BP. As far as we (my wife & me) There are two weak points: 1) it would be nice to individually set the red/yellow/green ranges. One of us has high blood pressure and the doctor considered that person is in the green for 130 or under while the green range is 120 or under. We could reset the green range to 130, but it resets the range for both of us. It would be nice if we could have separate ranges. 2) we record our % of fat which for most people is in the range of 9.0% to 20.0%. To graph it you have to enter it times 10, that is 12.6% has to be entered as 126. And, it graphs it on the same chart as the BP. it would be nice % of fat could be entered as a percent and graph on its own graph. And that graph be flexible enough for those who want to graph something other then what % of fat.

XR Opening

When passcode is operational I cannot access iBP on my new XR iPhone. Why not?

Graph

I do not like the way the graph is set up or I would give it a five star.

Simple and Useful

I've been using this blood pressure app consistently for several years, and it has always been reliable and easy to use.

Best BP Tracker Available-IMO

I started with this BP tracking App several years ago and then went to others—because they seemed more up-to-date—and now I’m back to iBP. I like to see all of my BP readings for a day be graphed independently and iBP does this—others only want to graph an average for the day. For my type of tracking purposes, and the type of information that I want to see, I think iBP is the best available.

Perfect!!

iBP makes tracking your blood pressure, and integrating that data into the Apple health ecosystem, a pleasurable snap :-) Watching my stats improved when I work out, and get worse when I don’t, keeps me motivated!

No customer support!

IBP is not updating the Mean Arterial which is merely a formula. I have to exit the app and restart to get it to update. After a couple of days now it’s not updating records although there are new records in Apple Health app. What’s very annoying is I contacted the developer and whoever that is is not responding. To me, the app is only as good as it’s support. Cannot recommend such sloppy attitude. $ 0.99 but it’s a matter of principle. Apple should remove unsupported apps!!

IBP records

This app helps me monitor my vital signs over time.
