Easy to enter data and plenty of space for notes and comments.
I have used iBP almost since it was first released. It is not "gimmicky" with external devices, it just reliably works to collect you BP data. Integration with HealthKit is nice. My only suggestion is Id like to see it use iCloud for multi-device sync
im 56 and started feeling very sluggish and tired so i bought this meter just to check my bp out of curiosity and it was out of control! i took daily readings, recorded them, and took them to my doctor, i think this meter saved my life, or at least from having a stroke!
A pencil and paper would equal this App. You are lead to believe it will that your BP. It wont.
It is almost invisible and its so EASEY! It just WORKS, so I use it every day, as I should. June 22, 2012, update; My Doctor loves the various ways this App.shows the information he needs: which is so much better than, me trying to remember millions of Bits of information and to tell it to him in one sentence. I challenge any of the Nay Sayers to show me any App. Which does a better job. Chris Update, 29 August 2012; Still love this, "Every day helper in making my life easier and healthier". My point of view is, "The best one is good enough for me"! Thats why I use IBP! Chris.
Does everything I need it to do and does it well.
I love this app, I just record my BP each day and show my Dr at my appointments. So easy.
Ive had this app for several years, during which time I have owned several different blood pressure machines. I have tried the apps recommended on the instructions for the particular blood-pressure machines and all those apps have disappointed me. While they may transmit the readings via Bluetooth to my smart phone app, their usability beyond that either doesnt function or is extremely poor. Sometimes I have lost months of data when changing the batteries on the machine, other times while it transmits the most recent blood pressure reading there is no display of my history. So time and time again I go back to the IDP app and enter my blood pressure and pulse readings manually. Ive never lost any data, my history is clear and readable and I can print when I have doctor appointments. I wish the data in this app would sync to the Apple health app, but Im still very satisfied.
I initially downloaded another highly rated blood pressure app because its design was more eye-appealing. After testing it, I found it slightly disappointing. So I tried iBP, and that’s what I’m sticking with. The things I like better about iBP: the chart reflects more than one morning and evening reading (I take one early in the morning and one after I exercise); the summary page displays my notes (in the other app, you have to click to another page to see your notes); all of the entry fields are on a single page; you don’t have to purchase the iPhone and iPad apps separately. While it’s not as pretty as the other app, it wins on usability, functionality and providing a broader range of information.
Great app!! It really keeps me on my toes. I find myself planning on a good rating on the app. I have to eat, exercise, rest, properly to receive a correct reading from an app. Pretty good.
Easy to use
Convenient, easy to use and share the data with my doctor.
This is a great app to help monitor your BP, I love the fact that I can take to my doctors office or fax and show her my progress .
A simple, uncluttered user interface to record daily readings and track history. Has not been ruined by add-ons that I had nothing or increase price.
Of all the BP apps out there, this one does exactly what we need it to do. History, reports, trends and color coded icons.
First, when you seek out the app on ITunes it shows you can record Glucose readings but when you open the app I could not find how to list it or any ways to adapt it to do so. Also I recorded several days of BP and then checked in and several days had disappeared; could have been user error I admit, but if it is easy to erase bp findings that is not good. Also, I recorded a bp listing the day before and then added a new one the next day to find that the bp reading the day before showed up on the same day I recorded my new bp. Not sure why it did not mark the first day correctly but it did not. Not sure about this app and I paid for it. Hmmmm!! Will try again to see if it works better before I delete it and find something else.
This app makes it easy to keep a log of your blood pressure, heart rate and weight. Not a lot of frills but just what I needed
Makes it easy to email BP pulse and weight to my Dr. easy and simple. Helps that you can add notes.
Just awesome! I use it everyday to keep in touch with all my health measurements. Thank you.
